Andrew Neeme and Poker Central Lead With Two APAs Each
On Thursday night, the American Poker Awards were held with twenty awards given away on the night. Las Vegas poker player and vlogger Andrew Neeme won two awards, one for Video Blogger of the Year and an impressive victory for the People’s Choice Award. Poker Central also won two awards in their categories for Media Content and Podcast.
Doug Polk, who led the way with three American Poker Award nominations going into the night, came up empty but took the results in stride.
Congratulations to everyone who won an award tonight, 2017 was a good year for poker and I think the industry has a lot of great, hardworking people who have made poker what it is today.

– On Thursday, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced that the state’s forth mini-casino license will be going to Glennwood Gaming for $8.9 million. Glennwood Gaming also owns the Parx Casino. The announcement came a day after Sands Bethlehem’s $9.9 million bid was invalidated due to the proposed casino’s proximity to a mini-casino that is planned to be placed near New Castle, PA in the western part of the state.
