American Poker Awards Announces Nominees
The Global Poker Index has unveiled its list of nominees in nine categories for 2017’s American Poker Awards ceremony.
Mike Sexton leads the list of nominees with three nominations including nods in “Tournament Performance of the Year,” “Poker Moment of the Year” and “Media Content of the Year” categories. Ari Engel and Maurice Hawkins also each garnered two nominations.
The nominations were selected by a panel of 70 players, industry members, tournament organizers, casino staff and sponsors. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Los Angeles on February 23rd at 8 PM PT.
